This set includes a 600W food dehydrator finished in a neutral grey color. It is equipped with five trays but can be expanded to hold more as your drying needs grow. The top-mounted fan is a key feature, as it forces air down through the center and across the trays for fast and even drying.
The powerful motor allows this unit to dry food much faster than lower-wattage models. It is specifically designed to handle beef jerky, fruit leathers, and dried vegetables with ease. The opaque exterior blocks harmful light, which helps to preserve the vitamins and nutrients in the food during the dehydration process.
The adjustable thermostat gives the user the ability to dry different foods at their proper temperatures. This model is a popular choice for its balance of power and simplicity. It provides a reliable way to create healthy snacks at home using fresh ingredients from the garden or grocery store.
